I have also been the manager who couldn’t hire newly certified coders because they lack the practical experience needed. I decided it's finally time to fix this and put the focus where it should be.
Most medical coding programs offer great training geared toward the certification exams. Very few leave you ready for real world coding. The few that do offer this do so at extremely high cost which leaves newly certified coders frustrated and discouraged.
We are here to bridge that gap between certified and career ready. We offer comprehensive training, live coaching and real-world, hands-on coding practice that is geared toward what you will see every day on the job. And we do this at a price that won't leave you in more debt.

Perfect for newly certified coders who need more hands-on experience. Advanced and specialty modules (4 weeks each) help seasoned coders grow. We also offer a course for those bridging pro fee to inpatient coding. We include extensive real case scenarios, coding practice with real world coding tools, portfolio capstone, referral service, interview coaching and ongoing mentoring long after your courses end.
No matter what your level, RCSE meets you where you are. Our flexible modules let you skip what you know and focus on what moves you forward, and they all include professional development content that is critical for this field.

Online Medical Coding courses
We offer several core medical coding courses as well as exam prep and advanced, specialty specific education. We offer our training in flexible module style courses that allow you to start where you want based on your experience and comfort level. We offer both instructor led, and self-led pathways to accommodate multiple needs and learning styles.
Exam Prep
We provide exam prep for those who need a refresher or more practical hands-on study. We offer flexible and customized study plans in 4-week, 12-week and 16-week options. Or let us help you design a study plan that fits your needs. Our goal is to help you successfully pass your certification exams.
Additional Coding Resources
We believe your time is better spent focused on studying and learning new coding skills, so we are gathering everything you need outside of your coding books, in one spot. From exam study guides to cheat sheets, flashcards to practice exams, coding case scenarios and quizzes, study planners and many other resources, we aim to have everything you need in one place so you can focus on what's important.
Academic and Career Coaching
Our coaches work with you on all aspects of your education and career journey. We offer group coaching for all of our classes, and we offer weekly group coaching in our Social Media groups. If you are looking for one on one mentoring, we offer that too!
Professional Development Training
We believe that career success requires more than just technical know-how. That’s why our programs include essential professional development training. Skills often overlooked in traditional non-college education paths. We offer leadership development, time management, professional communication and office software training. These modules are integrated into our core programs and also available as standalone options, so you can choose the training that fits your goals best.
